It takes a collaborative effort among agencies to control pests across the state. It is also important to
communicate to the public how to properly submit suspect pest samples to agencies. This course is
designed to introduce the audience to:

•  The different agencies and organizations
•  What they do
•  What roles they play in monitoring and managing invasive species that come into the United States
•  How pests are introduced to Florida
•  How to submit samples for identification
