This course discusses the basics of mite biology and anatomy and learn some of the ways mites can damage plants or be beneficial as predators or fungus feeders. We will also introduce you to the citrus Hindu mite, the citrus brown mite, and the red palm mite. The coriander aphid is known as a serious pest of coriander (aka cilantro) and fennel. The orange spiny whitefly is a major pest of citrus. This course covers their distribution, damage, life cycle, identification, monitoring and control.
