Oak decline is a soilborne root rot fungus that is limited to oak trees and causes defoliation and dieback. Japanese oak wilt (Raffaelea quercivora) is a fungus that does not occur without the Oak ambrosia beetle. The learning objectives are to understand the following regarding the diseases:
