This program is approved by FDACS to award State of Florida Pesticide Applicator CEUs to program participants who complete the course.

The oak processionary moth caterpillar, named for its’ habit of traveling together in a line, feeds almost exclusively on oak trees and create large areas of defoliation from feeding. The rosy moth larvae also cause damage to the leaves of trees. These pests are defoliators that consume whole leaves and vein as well as flowers and young shoots.
